The University of Miami College of Arts and Sciences commemorated its centennial with a series of events on April 7 and April 8, 2025, including a celebration featuring a performance by theater arts students, a luncheon for emeritus faculty and retired staff, and tours of the Lowe Art Museum and the John C. Gifford Arboretum.

— Eugene Clasby, a professor emeritus of English and former chair of the Faculty Senate, reflecting on the joy he experienced mentoring students

— Corinne Rutzke, B.A. ’85, an English major who is now an attorney
“The University has had a significant impact on my life to the point that I haven’t even left Miami, and I’ve stayed here at the University trying to give back.”
— Andrea Assantes, B.S. ’97, M.D. ’02, a biology major who is now a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine
“I can say this with certainty: the most special thing was the relationships I developed with faculty, with staff, and with students.”
— Julie Garcia, a retired staff member who worked in both the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Computer Science
